Touring and Working in Italy

A working week in Liguria:

Usually we start at 10:00 - but if we have something to do before we also start earlier.  At our meeting point we discuss in the morning what we have to do during the day, we plan the week as well as tours and we work on our projects.
Most of the time we spend outside discovering the beautiful region Liguria, collecting information and taking pictures for our travel guide and checking our properties .

At lunch time we taste great culinary delights in one of the several restaurants and bars! We try different kind of dishes and locations and if we are satisfied of one we also want to share it with others. Then we will add it to our online travel guide or our top recipes.

Not far away from the sea and the town center we is our nice apartment with a terrace, where we can relax after a day of hard work. The owner of our apartment provides us with fresh fruits and vegetables from his garden. Also, his dog likes to visit us at the evenings on our terrace.

Our days off in Italy are like holidays!
We relax at the beach, visit nice cities like Genoa, Sanremo, Monte Carlo and Nice, discover the beautiful landscape and also the nightlife of Liguria.

Working in Italy means also to get to know a lot of people. We meet people from different countries with whom we can improve and practice our language skills.

This summer we are a team of 3 colleagues and everyone has his own area. We work in a team, but also independently which gives the learning possibility to structure the day and to organize ourselves.

During the week we have to prepare the weekend. We pack and sort bed linen, check the properties and discover the region.

The streets can at times be challenging. Even a good and experienced driver will soon learn that Liguria will push your driving skills!  You will meet narrow streets in the hinterland of Liguria and the Italian driving style - especially in the cities - but don’t worry, after a while you get used to it!

Every day can be an adventure. You plan the projects and your day but these plans can also get changed suddenly, depending on factors such as the weather.

We spend an amazing summer with sunny days, culinary delights, fun, planned and unplanned adventures.
